ID Change Support Fund – A fund run by TGV to help people update the name and sex on their identity documents.
Understanding Financial Abuse – A resource and support for LGBTQIA+ people experiencing financial abuse that is provided by Rainbow Door.
Housing Support
Trans Housing Melbourne – A Facebook group for TGD people looking for shared accommodation in Melbourne.
Queer Housing Melbourne – A Facebook group for queer people looking for shared accommodation in Melbourne.
Pride in Place – Support for LGBTIQA+ people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness. Pride in Place is currently operating in the Hume Merri-bek, Inner Western Metro, Outer Eastern Metro and Central Highlands areas of Victoria only.
Haven Home Safe – An organisation providing housing and homelessness support in a number of areas across Victoria. They are open to anyone but are TGD friendly.
Housing for the Aged Action Group – An organisation specialising in housing support for older people. They provide support for everyone but are rainbow tick accredited.
Juno – Homelessness and family violence support for women (trans or cis) and non-binary people.
Launch Housing – Support for anyone in Melbourne who is experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Their rent support program is limited to certain council areas. They are open to anyone but are TGD friendly.
VincentCare – Support for anyone who is homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They are open to anyone but are rainbow tick accredited.
