Silver Rainbow Victoria – LGBTI+ Ageing and Aged Care training for hospitals and other service providers, provided by TGV.
Val’s LGBTI Ageing & Aged Care – Support, education and advocacy for older LGBTI people.
Housing for the Aged Action Group – An organisation specialising in housing support for older people. They provide support for everyone but are rainbow tick accredited.
Seniors Rights Victoria – Resources to help empower people to help themselves, advocacy for policy and legal change, community and professional education. They provide support and advocacy for any older people living in Victoria.
Social Support
Alice’s Garage – A social enterprise empowering older LGBTI people and promoting healthy LGBTI ageing.
Bent Twig Alliance – A social group for LGBTI elders and allies who meet fortnightly in Collingwood. You can call (03) 9205 5555 for more information.
Golden Rainbow Coffee Catch Up – A social group for older LGBTI+ adults to connect and have a chat. They meet at the Bellfield Community Hub.
Out & About – A visiting service for older LGBTI Victorians run by Switchboard. Out & About pairs older LGBTI people with a regular visitor.
Rainbow Connection – A visiting service run by Thorne Harbour Health for LGBTIQ+ people experiencing social isolation. It matches people in residential care or those on a home care package with a regular visitor.
Silver Rainbows Social Group– A social group for LGBTIQA+ people over 50, their allies, friends and carers in Shepparton and the Greater Goulburn Valley.
The Thorne Birds – A monthly social catch up for older LGBTI people in the City of Stonnington.
