Gender Affirmation

RCH Gender Service– A Victorian statewide service for children and adolescents up to 16 years. A GP referral is required.
Gateway Health – Medical care and social support for TGD people between the ages of 8 and 17. This service is based in Wodonga.

Youth Specific Resources

QHub – A Victorian program aiming to create a number of safe spaces for LGBTIQA+ people across the state.

Family Access Network – Services and support for young people who are homeless or at-risk. They are a general service but are rainbow tick accredited and have specific LGBTQIA+ programs.

Peer Support

LGBTIQA+ Mentoring Projects – Run by Drummond Street Services in Melbourne and Geelong. Mentoring is available for anyone 12 and over.

EG HEY Project – Support and events for LGBTIQA+ youth in East Gippsland.
GLITTER Craigieburn – Glitter is a fortnightly social group for LGBTQIA+ young people and allies aged 12 – 18.
GLITTER Sunbury – Glitter is a fortnightly social group for LGBTQIA+ young people and allies aged between 12 – 21.
House of Awesome – House of Awesome is a fortnightly social group for young people aged 12 to 25 who identify as LGBTIQA+. It is run by Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health.
(in)visible – A group that connects young (16-25) queer and trans people from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
LGBTIQA+ Skittle Squad – For youth aged 10-17, this group is located in Rosebud, Hastings and Mornington.
Peninsula Pride – Peninsula Pride is a Queer Straight Alliance Youth Program for those aged 12-18. It is located in Frankston.
Q Program – Q Program is a support and recreation program for young people 12-25 who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, in the Wyndham City Council area
Queerspace Youth – A peer led program for Queer, Trans, Intersex, Gender Diverse or questioning people aged between 16 and 25.
Rainbow Connections Mornington Peninsula – A youth and family group in Hastings.
Rainbow Space – Groups for LGBTQIA+ young people, friends and allies, aged 12-25 in Bundoora.
Rural Rainbows – LGBTQIA+ youth social group for people aged 12-25.
The Space LGBTQIA+ Group – City of Melton’s safe and inclusive space for young people aged 12 to 25.
Unique but United – headspace Bairnsdale’s LGBTIQA+ support group.
WayOut Macedon Ranges – Support for LGBTIQA+ young people up to 25.
WayOut Wodonga – Support for for LGBTIQA+ young people under the age of 25.
